The Teleporters were formed by the only two attendees of Octogram's 21st birthday bash, held in his grotty Brighton abode in the post-Britpop years. When the vodka kisses ran out we lamented together, sobbing and groaning to the rhythms of a Mogwai remix CD. Octogram at this point had no curtains in his windows and, when we switched off the light to bed down that night, we discovered we'd drawn a modest crowd of rats and gulls on the mattress-strewn lawn.
Now we're aiming to hit it big with soaring choruses and big name producers, saying things like 'mahoosive' in interviews and arsing about. We are available for bookings.

New Teleporters Material!

The Teleporters' latest release is entitled 'Travellin' Without Movin'' and will be exclusively available at Goodpress's 'That's Life!' event, part of Glasgow Zine Fest, opening 30th April at 5 St. Margaret’s Place, Glasgow.

Goodpress explain that they "...present a newly constructed, contemporary chronicle of audio offerings from a vast and sprawling pool of artists, musicians, writers, and individuals of cultural note. Each piece of audio resides in a C20, and will be offered for reproduction via the use of a tape duplicator for the price of £2 a pop, along with individual artworks to adorn the casings"
