The Teleporters were formed by the only two attendees of Octogram's 21st birthday bash, held in his grotty Brighton abode in the post-Britpop years. When the vodka kisses ran out we lamented together, sobbing and groaning to the rhythms of a Mogwai remix CD. Octogram at this point had no curtains in his windows and, when we switched off the light to bed down that night, we discovered we'd drawn a modest crowd of rats and gulls on the mattress-strewn lawn. Now we're aiming to hit it big with soaring choruses and big name producers, saying things like 'mahoosive' in interviews and arsing about. We are available for bookings.
