The Teleporters were formed by the only two attendees of Octogram's 21st birthday bash, held in his grotty Brighton abode in the post-Britpop years. When the vodka kisses ran out we lamented together, sobbing and groaning to the rhythms of a Mogwai remix CD. Octogram at this point had no curtains in his windows and, when we switched off the light to bed down that night, we discovered we'd drawn a modest crowd of rats and gulls on the mattress-strewn lawn.
Now we're aiming to hit it big with soaring choruses and big name producers, saying things like 'mahoosive' in interviews and arsing about. We are available for bookings.

Teleporters Curate Archival Release of Immense Historical Significance

The Teleporters emerge from their misty place of mystery this month to unveil a new album on the popular 'compact disc' format through their latest champions Chocolate Monk. This ambitious 45-copy release is a departure for the crows-footed duo, who have temporarily eschewed their own sonic meanderings to present to the public ear the lost voices of of our fair nation. Culled from literally dozens of minutes of field recordings, The Teleporters take us on a journey from konk to heel of our much ashrivelled empire to celebrate the eternal minstrel that stalks the earthen soil, a rose betwixt his teeth and a service station muffin in his back pocket. Long  may you prance, England's own trickster-sage.
